Botswana

Botswana was a journey defined by space, silence, and movement. I rented a Toyota Hilux bushcamper and drove nearly 2,000 kilometers through the north of the country, following dusty roads that led to rivers, wetlands, and unforgettable encounters with wildlife.

Along the Chobe River, I spent time watching elephants — countless, calm, and powerful — moving through the landscape as if time slowed around them. Chobe National Park became one of those places where observation turns into quiet awe.

The Okavango Delta revealed itself in layers: drifting silently through its channels in a mokoro, and later seeing its vastness from above in a helicopter. From water level to sky, it felt alive in every direction.

This journey wasn’t about rushing or collecting sights. It was about being present, moving slowly, and letting the land set the rhythm.
